Rescue Associations - Sphynx Cats do not have many rescue associations per se. Many breeders will unite together to rescue these wonderful cats or post them as rescues on their own websites. Reputable breeders are your best source here as opposed to so-called "Rescue Organizations." WARNING: Be very careful here. We have recently found several local rescue groups that appear to be bona fide (present a nice website and appear to be credentialed) that are really only interested in obtaining cats for resale to the highest bidder. Furthermore, they post these animals in such a psychological manner as to provoke one to "save" the poor critter by using less than best photos and request donations. They also offer shopping and their "other services" such as sewing, website design and other creative artwork. Be certain to be very diligent before you fork over your money to these groups. The only way they will stop proliferating is if they are NOT supported. Here is the only resource endorsed by us and others, probably for a good reason, to get you started:
