Our Championship Pedigree Lines
Argus
Argus was born in March of 1982. He is a KWPN approved stallion by Pion out of Rozetta by Jasper. Argus stands 17 hands and has sired many champions since. Trained by Hap Hansen and Robert Dover, this stallion has won numerous awards in both dressage and jumping well into the 90's.
He placed first in the 1986 Fallbrook combined competition. In 1987 he won the CDS Championship. Argus consistently came out on top and always performed very well. This champion sire holds the second highest number of 1st Premium and Star offspring of all the NA/WPN stallions in North America. Over a third of all of his offspring attained 1st Premium status and he has been somewhat active in North America for the last decade!
Argus spent some time in Europe and competed in some World Championships, doing very well. This fantastic championship stallion is currently doing very well in great health, enjoying the good life he well deserves, yielding great motility while standing with Lori Skrip at Sabir Springs Farm, British Columbia, Canada, where excellence is bred.
I fell in love with Argus years ago and am very proud that he is the sire to Gary's Argusina, "Auggie", with Seams-A-Star (a Red Star mare). Truly a classic horse and we are proud to have his name in our lines and on our farm. My conquering knight, sire of my dream — you go Argus!
Peron
Peron's biggest success was his partnership with American rider Michelle Gibson. 1996 was a bonus year for Peron and Michelle when she won the national title at the USET Festival of Champions. Also that year, the pairing shined as the most powerful American team ever at the Olympic Games in Atlanta winning the bronze medal for the American team.
Owner Meyer-Webster decided to move Peron to Germany. He trained with Ann Kathrin Ehlen under the training of Rudolf Zeilinger though 1997. His last competition was the CDI Donaueschingen where Ann rode him to an honorable score of 70.93% in the Grand Prix Special, placing second.
The Memory of Peron lives on, as does the Memory of his famous sire Mahagoni, in the marvelous get he has put out into the world of dressage to the joy of the public. He will live on forever in what he has done for the Trakehners of the world.
Check out our Peron daughter! Seams-A-Willow, out of Gary's Argusina, an Argus daughter, out of a double Man-O-War bred foundation, Thoroughbred mare Seams-A-Star. "Seamsy", as we called her, is the mare who, along with Argus, started and built the cornerstone of the foundation stock of Autumn-Argus Farm. We will cherish forever her loving memory in our hearts!
Art Deco
Art Deco by Samber out of Zorba has competed successfully in Grand Prix Dressage, Hunters, Eventing and Jumpers. One of the top sporthorse stallions in North America, this pinto Warmblood stallion was the first colored horse in the world approved for breeding by the Oldenburg Verband via ISR/OLD NA in 1993.
This winning sire is touted as the foundation sire of pinto sporthorses in the United States! Art Deco champion offspring can be found winning in Dressage, Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing and Combined Driving. Throwing 75% pinto colored offspring, he is a top sire of premium offspring for ISR, Oldenburg and RPSI.
Art Deco has consistently been ranked in the top ten for ALL Dutch Warmbloods producing USDF and ASHA rated performance horses. We are certainly proud to have his son, Decorado, by Rosie in our barn. Decorado is a wonderful stallion and we have high hopes for his future. Art Deco is currently standing at Silverwood Farm, Lovettsville, Virginia, where they have a wonderful line of champions!
Rampal
Rampal holds the distinction of being one of the highest scoring stallions (93 points) inspected and approved by the KWPN Keuring committee in America.
In 1993, he was the AHSA Region 1 Grand Prix Champion and CBLM Finals Grand Prix Champion. He earned the highest score (67.44%) at the Grand Prix level in the competition's 11-year history.
Rampal is a 17 hand, dark bay, Dutch Warmblood stallion born 6/6/83. Today he is standing at Iron Springs Farm. Here are a few of his features:
Nine 1st place wins at Grand Prix in 1994.
Received his USDF Performance Merit Award at Grand Prix.
Sire of 18 Star mares and geldings, and 32 First Premium foals.
